This tour is a great choice for all travelers, moderate hike inspired by the traditional Easter pilgrimage taking place in and around village Dol every year.
Tour starts as we ascent from Dol following the route that has been paved in for centuries as a part of the procession in the morning of the Great Friday. This small road rises up to the church of St. Michael placed above the village on the high point of central hill. After visiting this early Christian basilica that dates back all the way to the 11th century, the procession continues to Velo Brdo and the devastated small church of Holy Vid and descends back to the village. Upon arrival to the viewpoint Kučac, we stop to rest and enjoy the stunning view of Dol and Postira, and then we head back to Dol.
Brač adventure staff strongly recommend wearing quality sports or mountain shoes, sportswear, sunscreen and a lot of water. The hike is 5.5 kilometers long, and it takes about 2 hours to pass.
